Ronaldo wants to make Premier League comeback

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has disclosed to his close friends that he misses his days with former club Manchester United in the English Premier League.

Ronaldo also reportedly shared with them that his dream of joining Spanish giants Real Madrid has become tarnished, express.co.uk reported.

Some home fans booed him earlier this season and questioned his approach but now relations between the player and supporters have become healthier as Madrid close in on the Spanish title.

Ronaldo joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in an 80 million pound world record transfer in June 2009 and he still considers United manager Sir Alex Ferguson as a father figure.

He has spent almost three years in Spain and the desire of a return to the Premier League is growing stronger in him. This news would definitely put a number of top English clubs on alert, including Manchester City and Chelsea.

Although Ronaldo's special relationship with United could prove crucial if Real Madrid decide to sell him, Man U would still not go anywhere near the 80 million pounds they sold him for.

They would, however, be prepared to shatter their record outlay, the 30 million pounds they handed to Spurs for Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov. (ANI)
