Cape Town - Former Manchester United defender and captain Gary Neville insists that he would not dare accept a managerial offer from the club.
The Sky Sports football pundit has been heavily critical of the Red Devils owners in the last three seasons for the way the club approached signing players and sacking managers.
In a Q and A on Twitter, football fanatics queried the once prolific right-back on various questions.
one fan asked to which Neville replied:
Neville previously held the managerial post at La Liga giants Valencia for less than five months before he was sacked following poor results.
The 44-year-old only won three of the 16 La Liga games he mentored the Spanish side, meanwhile, a Barcelona 7-0 hammering in a Spanish Cup semi-final was his worse defeat.
asked.
Neville replied:
Meanwhile, Neville's worse moment as a pundit was when Manchester City won the Premier League title on the final matchday of the season during the 2011/12 season.
probed to which Neville simply replied - mimicking Peter Drury's famous commentary to Sergio Aguero's goal in the final seconds of City's match against QPR at the Etihad Stadium to secure the Premier League title.
